How to Register for a Lenovo Exam

  1. Create or Sign In to Your Pearson VUE Account:
    • Go to the Pearson VUE website and sign in or create a new account using your legal name as it appears on your government-issued ID.
    • Once logged in, select your desired Lenovo exam and proceed with payment.
  2. Choose Your Exam Format:
    • Proctored Exams: You can take proctored exams either at Pearson VUE test centers or via OnVUE (online proctored). Note that online proctoring is unavailable in China, Cuba, Iran, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Sudan, and Syria.
    • Exam Location: Select a convenient test center or schedule your online proctored exam.
  3. Business Partner and Employee Instructions:
    • Lenovo Business Partners: Use your business email address and full company name to ensure your certification contributes to your company’s partner requirements.
    • Lenovo Employees: Register using your Lenovo email address and specify “Lenovo” as your company name to ensure your certification is recorded in your Grow@Lenovo transcript.

Lenovo Certification Program Agreement

Before taking the certification exam, you must agree to the Lenovo Certification Program Candidate Agreement. It is crucial to review this agreement thoroughly to understand the terms and conditions.

Retake Policy

  • No Waiting Period: You can retake an exam immediately after a failed attempt.
  • Second Attempt: If you do not pass on your second attempt, a 30-day waiting period is required before a third attempt.
  • Fees: Full published fees apply for retakes; there are no discounts. Retaking a passed certification exam is not permitted.

Preparing for Your Exam

The Lenovo certification exams are computer-based and assess your knowledge and skills. To prepare effectively:

  • Training Resources: Utilize the available training materials through Lenovo Partner Learning for business partners or Grow@Lenovo for employees.
  • Access Training:
    • Business Partners: Log in to Lenovo Partner Learning (LPL), select Catalog, then Certifications/Credentials, and choose the relevant Learning Program.
    • Employees: Access training via Grow@Lenovo.

Post-Exam Process

Upon passing your exam and fulfilling all credential requirements:

  • Receive Certification Materials: Within 72 business hours, you will receive an email from Lenovo with instructions to access your certificate, logo, and digital badge through CertMetrics.
  • CertMetrics Access: CertMetrics is separate from Pearson VUE and provides access to your certification history, certificates, badges, and logos.

Name Changes on Your Account

If your name in your Pearson VUE account does not match your legal name, contact Pearson VUE customer service. You will need to provide the required documentation for a name change. Allow up to 5 business days for the process.
