Effective July 1, 2019, the exam fee for LinuC Level 3 exams has been revised to make certification more accessible:

  • LinuC Level 3 Exam Fee: Reduced from USD 300 (excluding tax) to USD 150 (excluding tax).
  • Retake Fee: Now available at USD 50 (excluding tax) for one additional attempt.

Certification Policies

  • Exam Validity Period: Certifications are valid for a specific period, after which recertification may be required to ensure your skills remain up-to-date.
  • Retake Policy: You can retake an exam if you do not pass on your first attempt. A 30-day waiting period applies for a third attempt. There is no discount for retake exams; the full fee applies.
  • Recertification Policy: To maintain certification status, you may need to meet certain requirements or pass additional exams.

Scheduling Your Exam

  1. Register for EDUCO-ID:
    • Before scheduling your exam, obtain an EDUCO-ID from EDUCO-ID Registration. This ID is essential for managing your exam results and scheduling.
  2. Schedule Your Exam:
    • Log in to your Pearson VUE account, select your exam, and choose a suitable time and location. Exams can be taken at Pearson VUE test centers or online (where available).
    • Note: Online proctoring is not available in certain countries including China, Cuba, Iran, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Sudan, and Syria.
  3. Consent to Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA):
    • Agreement to the NDA is required at the time of scheduling. Failure to agree will prevent you from scheduling the exam.
