Online Certification Testing: Convenience at Your Fingertips

Take Your Exam from Home:

With ISM’s partnership with Pearson VUE, you can now take your certification exam from the comfort of your home or office through OnVUE online proctoring. This option provides a secure and convenient testing environment, monitored by a live proctor via webcam.

Steps to Take Your Exam Online:

1. Choose ‘Online at my home or office’: During the registration process, select the option to take the exam online.
2. Run the System Test: Before scheduling your exam, run the OnVUE system test to ensure your computer and internet meet the technical requirements.
3. Watch the Tutorial: Visit the ISM online proctoring page to watch a short video demonstrating the ease of testing from home or work.

Important Considerations:

• New Account Creation: If this is your first time logging in to Pearson VUE, you will need to create a new account as your ISM login credentials will not work on their site.

Appointment and Rescheduling Information

ID Requirements:

• Valid ID: Ensure you bring a valid form of identification on the day of your exam. The name on your ID must exactly match the name on your ISM exam registration. Discrepancies will result in being denied access to the test, and your exam fees will be forfeited.

Rescheduling and Cancellations:

• 24-Hour Notice: To reschedule or cancel your exam without incurring additional fees, you must do so at least 24 hours in advance.
• Pearson VUE Fees: A fee will be charged by Pearson VUE for cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of the scheduled testing time. This fee is paid directly to Pearson VUE.

Confirmation of Changes:

• Email Confirmation: After rescheduling your exam, ensure you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation, your rescheduling may not be complete, and you could be charged for a no-show appointment.
