The Institute’s findings highlighted concerns with VU’s response to a serious issue, noting that their handling was neither prompt nor sufficiently diligent. Although the judgment did not directly implicate our services in any act of racial discrimination, it brought to light significant shortcomings in VU’s internal processes—a matter we cannot overlook.

Why We Terminated Our Partnership with VU

After careful deliberation, Proctorio decided to terminate our Software-As-A-Service Agreement with VU. This decision was not made lightly, as we understand the weight of ending a partnership, especially with a long-standing client. However, our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and internal policies are clear: we do not tolerate any form of discriminatory conduct, and we expect the same level of commitment from our partners.
